Probate
Estate Probate is the process of having courts recognize a will that was created and distributing the assets according to the provisions of the will. It is the very personal process of following the explicit directions of the deceased loved one and carrying out his or her final wishes.
Administration
Estate administration is the process of having courts and financial institutions recognize the estate and assets of a deceased loved one, collect and pool all the assets, and divide them up according to statute.
